About

Dr. Rosemary Wu is Associate Dean of Administrative Affairs and Faculty Development of the College of Dental Medicine at California Northstate University. She is also a Board Certified Periodontist and Implant Surgeon, practicing since 2006. She graduated as a Dean’s List Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of Business. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine.

Having a keen interest in biomedical research, Dr. Wu spent many years as a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in Journals such as, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U.S.A, J. Biomed. Sci, and Methods in Enzymology.

She obtained her Masters in Oral Biology, Certificate in Periodontology and Oral Implantology and Certificate in Intravenous Sedation at the University of California San Francisco, where she is now teaching as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

In addition to teaching future Periodontists, Dr. Wu is also a Conscious Sedation Evaluator and Subject Matter Expert for the California Dental Board. She has enjoyed participating with Physicians, Dentists and Students delivering dental care in Honduras and in the underserved local community.
